We are making progress on the construction of the new greenhouse. We cannot wait to get this place operational and to increase the number of happy and healthy school children in the local area. We still have a few months of primary construction and then we will be able to begin prepping the greenhouse and getting it ready to grow.
Enclosing the greenhouse is necessary because we need to trap the heat energy from the sun during the colder months here in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Doing so will allow us to provide fresh and local produce to the school children and restaurants in the the area all year long. When the temperatures begin to warm up, we have installed large vents and fans which can be opened and operated to keep the building cool.
